    In today's world, there is so many different jobs that people can get into. Many people get stuck in following the money and not following the passion when finding a job. In my experience construction workers have a good time while on site and getting their projects done. On the other hand, there are many downsides to this construction. Many people see construction workers as rough and mean individuals so, are construction workers really happy?

    The Constuction industry is a very stressful job that needs to be taken very seriously to make sure no one gets hurt. It takes serious skill and dedication to make construction projects happen and can take a toll on the mental health. Construction workers work long hours and work outside in the elements that may not seem very exciting and many people would avoid this type of work. This type of work is mentally draining but also physical draining on the body.

    Construction workers seem to enjoy their jobs non the less, even with all the downsides. One reason that could cause this is, workers get a good sense of accomplishment from projects. As a laborer you can see the project you are working on come together and show people what you have done. This is different to that of an office job where you can exactly tell what you have done. In construction, you could have built a tower, a bridge, a factor, who knows what else.

    Construction worker joy on the job can come from the teamwork and friendships that can be made on site. A big factor that helps this is that HR is not always involved in things that do not matter unlike the office. Many people cannot make solid lifetime connections with coworkers due to HR breathing down their necks. In construction, what's said on site, stays on site. This allows for a solid bond between workers making it more enjoyable to go into work and joke around. Obviously, there is a limit to what should be said, common sense helps with that.

    A big factor that affects the moods of construction workers is that their field of work is always needed. Construction workers have a good sense of job stability and security which makes life easier. Many industries face layoffs and uncertainty that is lacked in the construction world. Other than that, the money is good when working in the construction industry, if thats what you are chasing.
