Construction Sectors      The construction industry is a crucial part of the development process of any country. It encompasses various sectors with each having its own characteristics and requirements. There are 4 main sectors of construction that we talk about. Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Infrastructure construction.      The residential sector focuses on the construction of homes and housing complexes. These can be for single individuals or families alike. The residential sector is driven by the demand for housing which can come and go as times and markets change. You make never know if you need more single-family homes, apartments, or condominiums. Residential construction requires careful planning to meet the needs to homeowners while being up to code.     Next up, the Commercial construction sector which focuses on business buildings.       Construction Labor and Peak Seasons      Construction labor is a crucial part of all construction projects no matter the size or cost. The availability of skilled workers can have a huge impact on the success of the project. Many companies are struggling to find skilled workers to help on their jobs during the peak seasons. These seasons vary on trade and scope of work on the project.      Peak seasons of construction typically happen during the summer months along with a few months in spring and fall. Mainly the weather conditions that allow us to work outside comfortably and can do groundwork as well. This time of year, there is a surge of construction projects either ongoing or starting. Who is to Blame for Construction Documents Quality Decline?

Image
Construction Document Quality      Construction documents are an essential part of any construction project, they provide all the details and instructions and specifications for contractors to follow. However, I've noticed that a lot of construction drawings and documents have declined in quality and detail recently. Missing drawing details, specifications, and incorrect and unsafe plans. The decline could be for many different reasons that we may or may not be able to fix.      A lot of plans nowadays are very complex, and the project can be a very complicated one. Specifications for concrete foundations or many a complex framework of a building could all be things that make it hard to create plans. Who is to blame you may ask? Well, you can't say for sure, but it could be the general contractors and subcontractors. Possibly the engineers and architects are to blame. Whoever it is, these issues can lead to costly change orders, delays in construc...
